Oriental languages: a new strong point for the DTP Department
Tuesday, 23 September 2008

The interlanguage desktop-publishing department now uses new graphic software versions for the management of technical documentation in the oriental languages: both simplified and traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese and, last but not least, Arabic. Thanks in particular to the new versions of Indesign CS4 and CS5, including the ME (MiddleEast) version specifically developed for Arabic, the working procedures for paging translations in these languages are more precise, quicker and more flexible than in the previous versions. What’s more, these new tools can also be interfaced with CAT tools, even for the oriental alphabets, making them ideal in multilingual projects with highly complex workflows.

A large number of projects have been carried through to completion in a variety of sectors, and for the automotive, white goods and cosmetics industries in particular, with outstanding results in terms of product quality, delivery times and customer satisfaction.
