interlanguage
was founded in Modena in 1986 by a group of translators and interpreters
sharing a feel for the business and a vision of the future. Over the
years, the company grew steadily to become a flexible language services
provider recognised for its high levels of competence, specialisation,

In the process of internationalisation
that swept through the languages industry in the 90s interlanguage
was ideally placed to take advantage of the birth of the Internet
and market globalisation, expanding its customer base to include businesses
based in other parts of Europe and in North America.
In March 2001 the company became one of the first Italian translation
centres to gain certification of its internal
Quality System and Translation/Interpretation Service in accordance
with ISO 9001 and Italian standard UNI 10574 – a milestone that
marked the dawn of a new phase of development for the organisation.
In April 2007 this quality system was brought into line with the new versions of the standards, resulting in the company's achievement of triple certification with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, UNI 15038:2006 and UNI 10574:2007. |
